• Other marketing channels

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Ashlocs’ booking and hair care services. By submitting a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Bookings & Deposits

• All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking:
• Walk-in / Salon visit: £20 deposit
• Home service (within Reading): £50 deposit
• Home service (outside Reading): £70 deposit
• Deposits are processed securely via Stripe and will be deducted from your total service cost.
• A booking is only confirmed once the deposit payment has been successfully processed.
• We will confirm your appointment within 24 hours of receiving your booking and deposit.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will forfeit the deposit.
• To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at bookings@ashlocs.co.uk or call +44 7724 500349.
• Ashlocs reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, your deposit will be fully refunded or transferred.

4. Pricing & Final Costs

• Service prices shown on the website are indicative price ranges only.
• Final pricing will be confirmed by our stylist based on your hair type, length, and specific requirements.
• Any coupon or referral discounts are applied to the deposit amount at the time of booking.
• Remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment.

5. Home Service

• For home service bookings, you must provide an accurate address and postcode.
• A suitable, clean working space must be available at your home.
• Travel charges are included in the deposit for home service bookings.
• Ashlocs will not be held responsible for any damage to property resulting from inadequate working conditions provided by the client.

6. Conduct & Welfare

• Ashlocs reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour.
• Please inform us of any scalp conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before your appointment.
• We are not liable for adverse reactions to services where the client has not disclosed relevant medical information.

7. Photography & Marketing

By agreeing to these terms, you consent to photographs and videos being taken during your appointment. These may be used by Ashlocs on our website, social media, Google Business Profile, and other marketing channels. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

8. Liability

• Ashlocs’ liability is limited to the value of services paid for.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the provision of our services.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
